The Edition
The Oxford Edition of the Sermons of John Donne will consist of 16 volumes: 15 of these will contain sermon texts and commentaries, and Volume XVI will be the Textual Companion to the series (to be co-written by Peter McCullough and Sebastiaan Verweij). The edition has been commissioned by Oxford University Press, and much of the work associated with it is generously funded by a Major Research Grant from the AHRC. Twelve individual volumes, each with its own specialist editor, have been contracted by OUP, and Volumes XIII – XVI are currently being planned. You can navigate the menu on the left to read introductions to individual volumes and their rationales.
